About Carolyn Lawrence
Carolyn joined Deloitte in 2015 as part of the firm’s increased investment in Diversity and Inclusion. She joins after leading a renowned Canadian business for 10 years, Women of Influence, where she succeeded in increasing the impact of this organization on women’s advancement, but also in growing the business itself by diversifying its services from nation-wide high powered events, to also include media (print/digital), executive education for high potential women, consulting on gender diversity and inclusion and thought leadership on the solutions to women’s advancement, while also expanding its reach beyond Canada into New York, Washington, London and Hong Kong.
Carolyn is dedicated to seeing women advance as leaders. She started her career in financial services in marketing, strategic communications and High Value Client initiatives and saw a need to apply her strengths in communication, strategy and leadership to the gender gap in the workforce.
